  • Abstract
Based on the idea of band-wise compensation [1], an adaptive pole-placement is proposed in this paper. Given an unknown plant, the desired closed-loop poles are first specified through a model, and a frequency set where the closed-loop to the desired frequency response fitting is wanted is chosen. Then, for each frequency band, the plant and the model are represented by a lower (first or second) order trawfer function, and a pole-placement controller is designed. This procedure is illustrated by a numerical example.
