Abstract :
The generic student related learning problem can be stated in the following way: Given a learning pattern, an initial knowledge level, and a cost, what is the optimal strategy under which the associated cost can be minimized (or maximized)? We study two learning patterns which focus on different knowledge domains. The resulting study strategies are compared.
