Abstract :
Predictive control has found wide applications in process control field, but its theoretical analysis and synthesis are still lacking. In this paper the predictive control system for a class of industrial processes is investigated. The performance indices of the controlled system are quantitatively analyzed. A synthesis procedure for predictive control systems without simulation trials is also proposed.
