            Abstract : 
This paper presents sufficient delay independent conditions that guarantee stability of nonlinear time varying functional differential equations (FDE). Assuming that the FDE takes the form of x´(t) = A(t) x(t) + f(t,x(t - gl(t)),...,x(t - gm(t))), stability conditions are derived in terms of the matrix measure (logarithmic norm) of A(t) and in terms of bounds on function f.
