Abstract
In this paper, a method is presented for obtaining the H∞ controller in a number situations where the standard assumptions needed for the application of the Riccati-based solution method fail. The situations considered are encountered frequently in practical applications due to the requirements to have integral action in the controller, large roll-off at high frequencies, etc...
