Abstract
This paper will review the data fusion problem and some of the techniques used to solve various components of the problem, including registration, association/correlation, filtering, identification, threat assessment, and situational awareness/resource allocation. The paper will describe how these techniques have been applied from the perspective of the military srvices. Specific applications will be discussed.
