Abstract
This paper considers state feedback mixed H2/H∞ control with pole placement via convex optimization. A generalized Riccati equation and a change of variable technique are employed in order to convexify the design problem. The resulting convex optimization problem is shown to be reducable to Generalized Eigenvalue Minimization Problem.
