Abstract :
The output voltage ripple in the push-pull dc-to-dc converter is discussed in this paper for the six modes of operation caused by the interaction between the magnetizing current of the transformer and that of the reactor. It is shown that, in the two modes of operation, both the low output voltage ripple and the stable dynamic characteristic of the first order are obtained even in the high load current region when large inductance of the reactor and small inductance of the transformer are used.
