Millimeter Wave Planar Integrated Circuit Developments for Communication Applications

Various low cost, compact integrated circuit components were developed at millimeter wave frequencies with state-of-the-art performance. These components include Gunn VCO´s, mixers, attenuators, switches, and modulators. Using these components as building blocks, RF subsystems were assembled for communication applications. component descriptions and a few example subsystems are presented.
