Abstract
Hughes Aircraft Company has developed an experimental S band adaptive array to study the operating principles behind adaptive nulling. One of the main objectives in testing the adaptive array was to see what kind of performance could be expected from a complete system operating in a real signal environment. Range tests were conducted at one of the company´s testing facilities, and some of the results on performance are presented in this paper.
