  • Abstract
The Technical Control Subsystem, as an adjunct to a communication system, serves to improve the reliability (availability) of the system and of the individual communications paths, or circuits. This paper provides some illustrative quantifications of such improvements, and describes the mathematical procedures for this quantification.
