Abstract :
Least-mean-squared (LMS) adaptive filtering can be used to suppress narrow-band jamming in a direct sequence (DS) spread spectrum receiver. This paper compares the performance of adaptive lattice and adaptive transversal filter structures for single and multiple tone jammers. A Texas Instruments TMS32010-based test system is described-which allows the generation of bit-error-rate (BER) results for both filter structures. Results are presented for single and multiple tone jammers having constant and swept frequencies.
