Abstract :
An Expert System for military communications network control is being implemented, and successive versions are currently being evaluated in the field by skilled operations personnel. The purposes of this paper are to describe the problem environment, to state the design and performance objectives of the Expert System, and to report the results achieved in implementing a system to meet these objectives.
