  • Abstract
    By using the direct approach to the analysis of the serial-search acquisition systems, all known Z and expanding window search strategies have been analysed recently (ref. 11). Motivated by some observations about those strategies, in this paper two novel search methods are proposed and analysed. Results are also compared with the best serial-search strategy for spread-spectrum code acquisition.
