Abstract
The proliferation of computer installations, the drive towards lower cost computer systems and the increasing range of non-computer equipment causing power disturbances, all create pressures for the introduction of improved computer power conditioning equipment to ensure trouble-free computer operation. Recent Computer Industry developments in this field take the form of packaged Static Power Synthesis systems, offering convenient and economical power conditioning and distribution facilities, with monitoring which permits the computer user to control his power environment.
