Abstract
To preserve ongoing connections and minimize the packet loss when the mobile node (MN) performs a handover, we introduce the low loss mobility agent (LLMA) in to the SIP systems. This agent works as an intermediate B2BUA between the MN and CN to minimize the loss packet when MN experiences a handover. In this paper, we will provide details working procedure to support the UDP session, and brief discussion on the TCP case when a handover occurs.
