  • Abstract
    Communication devices such as cordless phones, mobile phone, local area network (LAN), and personal communication systems (PCS) play an important role in our daily life. The rate of growth in wireless communication applications is trended to be raised sharply causing competitiveness in this technology. Consequently, antenna designs need to be improved. Our project proposes a novel dual band microstrip antenna, operating at 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz which are frequencies of wireless LAN applications. The proposed antenna has small size, low loss, omni directional radiation pattern lightweight, and low cost.
