Abstract
In view of these insufficiencies in traditional configuration software, such as weak expansibility, not supporting opening standards and distributed environment, this paper proposed a component-based configuration software model and accomplished the hard core of RTDB component based on .NET component technology. Using XML documents, cache and relational database multi-memory media to construct the real-time database. During the implementation process making use of .NET Assembly, metadata and reflection mechanism to gain information of other components, thus enables communications between components. It confirms the component-based configuration software to have good expansibility, supporting opening standards and distributed environment with guaranteeing the real-time capabilities at the same time.
