Abstract :
Korea started Terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (T-DMB) service in May 2005. As of December 2006, T-DMB service in South Korea consists of, 7 TV channels, 12 radio channels, and 8 data channels. These days T-DMB services are getting much more. TPEG service is one of variable services. It is important and useful for driver to reach a destination faster and easier. We introduce TPEG decoder using X-PAD, instead of current protocols which are used by broadcasting companies for TPEG service. Traffic Congestion do not free up between 1 and 2 minute. Therefore if we get TPEG data that do not need to use independent channel while data update, we could extend extra service channels such as video services. Also, this system is more low-power and uncomplicated than a current DMB system. We use baseband module, PNP3030E, and decode the TPEG data in X-PAD. This paper presents method for decoding TPEG service.
