Abstract

Main purpose of this paper is to discuss the application that aims to reduce the burden on school administration staff during preparations and maintenance of school timetables. It describes not only the application itself but also the underlying Ruby on Rails Web development framework and a Ruby programming language. Although this project is not yet publicly available it may become a basis for a future commercial release.
