Abstract

This article describes application of enterprise service Bus (ESB) architectural pattern implementation to integrate simple network management protocol (SNMP) with Java Management Extensions (JMX). The key goal is to enable managing JMX enabled applications using SNMP protocol and to demonstrate the features of Java Business Integration (JBI) integration platform. In the literature it is possible to find descriptions of integration of SNMP and JMX, but none of them has been done with usage of ESB.
