  • Abstract
A decision feedback equalization method with basis expansion models (BEM) for time domain synchronization (TDS) OFDM systems is proposed. The initial values of model parameters are estimated by known pseudo-noise (PN) sequences and a decision feedback algorithm is used to modify the precision of models, the more accurate channel values are obtained by using the higher order model. Simulation results show that the method in this paper can resist the multipath interference and Doppler frequency shift very good; comparing the traditional channel estimation algorithm such as PN self-correlation and linear interpolation algorithms, the equalization method in this paper can improve the system performance better.
