Abstract :
Many factors can affect the stability of load balancing algorithm in parallel cluster computing, among them, a very important one is the ratio of execution-time to delay. This paper analyzes the effect of execution-time/delay on stability of load balancing algorithm in both theory and experiment view, and then this paper uses a load balancing gain to control this kind of effect for enhancing the performance of parallel cluster computing. The simulation results for different execution-time/ delay value are given to compare with the theory results in the end of paper.
