Abstract
Currently, all the available references about the transmitting characteristic of smart antenna in the CDMA system have wrongly considered that only one SA can simultaneously make multiple CDMA channels transmission directionally on a single carrier. By means of the basic principles of phased array antenna and the virtual test for SA it has been proved in this paper that the view mentioned above can not be realized. The proof process is simple and easy to understand. The TD-SCDMA standards and the SA equipment in the system are built on the erroneous theory, so that they canpsilat make multiple CDMA channels transmission directional at the same time slot.
