  • Abstract
    Network Simulation is a new network design and optimization technology, it can provide a reliable quantitative basis for networkpsilas planning and design, and it also can verify the actual project or compare a number of different designs. In this paper, we introduce OPNET network simulation softwarepsilas main features, modeling mechanism and simulation steps. Given an example for a home network, we give steps of Network simulation under OPNET environment. According to the different settings, the simulation obtains network performance index of diversiform circumstances. The experimental result shows that OPNET network simulation software could accurately analyze network performance and behavior.
