Abstract :
With the development of the technique of XML, how to make use of database to store and query XML documents has become a hot topic. In this paper, a labeling scheme and a storage method of XML documents based-on this labeling scheme are proposed. According to the node types, this method decomposes the document tree structure into nodes and stores them into the relational table; it enables us to store any kinds of documents using a fixed relational schema. The simple paths of document were also stored with a table. This method supports the query and retrieval of original XML document efficiently based-on the label of node. We report our experimental results on a real dataset to show the performance of our method at last.
