Abstract :
In order to optimize the technology of parts which have complex shape and are easy to be deformed in gas nitriding, an improvement is applied to the temperature-control system of a gas nitriding electric-furnace which exists much lag in temperature, by adopting a Fuzzy-PID controller, and then the Fuzzy-PID controller is designed, furthermore, the simulation experiments are made based on the tool of MATLAB7.0. The results of simulation indicate that the temperature-control effect of Fuzzy-PID controller is better than that of the conventional PID controller. Moreover, this result of research on simulation has an active guidance to the optimization of heating process for technology of gas nitriding.
