Abstract
For the purpose of extracting slope information of farmland spots, this paper introduces how to choose the size of DEM grid according to topographic features. It has designed the method of using weighed mean filtering to process grid slope, which can produce the slope level map that is more suitable for farmland slope extraction. According to the problem that after overlaying slope map and farmland map, a farmland spot may contain several slope levels, shape index and dominance index will assist to obtain more exact slope level of this farmland spot. Moreover, by taking the northwestern region of Zhulin Town, Qichun County as an example, this paper verifies the validity of the above method.
