The Design and Implementation of a Management Platform for Creating 3D Digital Content Production

It is a challenging task for the creation of 3D digital content production that often requires some artists and directors to work together, and needs to store and manage many project fodders. In this paper, we design a mechanism that use instant messaging and files management for the 3D digital content production development project, and solve several key technologies in the production development, i.e. building aided instant collaboration environment, reading and previewing 3D models stored in server using GUI client. Finally, we implement a prototype to verify our idea based on a set of open source libraries and softwares.
