  • Abstract
A wireless measurement system was designed to detect the rotor current of an induction machine. The reason of using wireless technique instead of wire is that it is difficult to connect measured components with wire directly from the rotor which is running to a stationary PC for display. This technique is intended for control induction machines with wound rotors. The wireless measurement system consists of a PIC device with build in ADC (analogue to digital converter) and USART (universal synchronous asynchronous receiver/transmitter) modules. A pair of UHF FM data transmitter and receiver is also used for data transmission and a MAX232 chip for sending data to a PC.
