  • Abstract
Route diversity is one of the available techniques to improve system availability of high altitude platform (HAP) networks during rainstorms. Route diversity was simulated in both time and space using radar rainfall data. The propagation aspects of HAP service as observed at the user ground station were analyzed based on their analogy to terrestrial point-to-multipoint systems.
