Abstract :
This paper presents the design process of a dual band equatorial helix antenna for TTC applications in satellites. A moment method code named MONURBS (see I.Gonzalez et al., Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society Journal vol.23, no.2, June 2008) has been used to design the helix antenna and the network feeding. The design process, geometrical and electrical models and comparisons between the predicted and measured values are presented.Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society Journal Vol. 23, no.2. June 2008.
