Abstract
This paper gives an overview about ongoing research and development work on RF components for satellite payload at IMST. Goals and recent work are shown whereby a focus is set on a possible use of the introduced technologies in the framework of the German Telecommunication Mission (Heinrich Hertz Kommunikationssatellit). Different examples of the developments are covered ranging from already flying power distribution networks over LTCC based microwave building blocks existing as engineering models for participation in the OnOrbitVerification program of the DLR (German Aerospace Center) up to the liquid crystal microwave components passing first test programs.
