Abstract
In this paper the FDTD/MoM-PO hybrid technique is presented. The proposed approach is applied to complex electromagnetic problems such as those involving antennas radiating in the presence of dielectric bodies. The method combines the ability of the FDTD method to deal with arbitrary material properties, and the versatility of the MoM-PO method for conducting structures. Numerical results show that the FDTD/MoM-PO hybrid technique offers a noticeable memory and CPU time saving.
