Abstract :
A versatile generic design of planar UWB antennas has been proposed. It simplifies the process of simulation and optimization. However, the main purpose is to facilitate the generation of a database of statistical UWB antennas. This database is currently under development. To obtain each optimized initial design, a single criterion (on the matching performance) has been used so far. The next step, under investigation, is to use multi-criteria optimization procedures (Pareto fronts, etc.) considering both matching and radiation behaviour.
