Abstract :
This paper presents a new wideband CPW-fed dielectric resonator antenna design, where a T-shaped DR is excited by an E-shaped slot via inductive and capacitive coupling technique. The proposed antenna provides an impedance bandwidth of 21%, covering a frequency range from 41.1 to 49.5 GHz, and stable gains of 5.8 ~ 6.6 dBi. With features, this antenna is suitable for wireless communication systems operating in millimeter-wave bands.
