Abstract :
It is acknowledged that the description of mobile radio channels that includes only Specular Components (SC) is insufficient. In order to overcome this, Dense Multipath Components (DMC) have to be taken into consideration. But a measurement backed model of the angular properties that would be needed for a comprehensive description of DMC is not yet available. The paper on hand will, therefore, examine the angular distribution of data obtained using channel-sounding measurements. Furthermore, it will present a simple model of this distribution, as well as methods for the estimation of its parameters.
