Abstract :
This article presents a rigorous method of moments (MoM) analysis of a radial monopole that is connected to a perfectly conducting (PEC) cylindrical ground plane which is covered by a dielectric cylindrical substrate. The convergence of the dyadic Green´s function has been accelerated by employing the image extraction method. Input impedance and radiation pattern results are presented and compared with measured data.
