Abstract :
Songnen Plain is an important grain production bases, but the area of sandy desertification gradually increases. Tailai County of typical sandy desertification region in Songnen Plain is taken as an example, and the data of land use and sand land change are acquired in 1986, 2000 and 2005 by RS and GIS technology, then the influence of land use on sandy desertification is analyzed, finally, characteristic index of land use is built to reflect the integrated influence of land use on sandy desertification. The results show that low coverage grassland and forest occur in the highest risk of sandy desertification, and has the trend to increase. Furthermore, the impact of land use conversion on sandy desertification is quite large, sandy desertification degree of land use unchanged is mainly mitigated, and land use changed mainly worsened. On the whole, land use tends to unreasonableness, although the trend is mitigated, it is still at the risk of further increasing the sandy desertification.
