Abstract
On the basis of the hyperspectral data, the paper did research on the remote sensing monitoring of chlorophyll a and eutrophication of Chagan Lake using hyperspectral model put forward by Hongtao Duan (Northeast Institute of Geography and Agricultural Ecology). Based on the mature theory, the process of remote sensing was implemented by a system with the support of techniques of the second development of GIS. The paper used the hyperspectral data of September 12th, 2004 as system instance data. Base on these instance data, the result gotten by the system shows that the concentration of chlorophyll a in the northwest of Chagan Lake is lower while that in the northeast and middle is higher, and so is the value of trophic state index. It means eutrophication in the middle and northeast of Chagan Lake is more serious. According to division standard of eutrophication, we find out that most of Chagan Lake has already belonged to mesotrophic water and part of it belonged to eutrophic water. The results are approximately same with Hongtao Duanpsilas conclusions in 2004.
