Author_Institution :

Abstract :
SAIC has developed a unique underwater UXO detection system for use in shallow water with typical depths up to 6 m (~20 ft) and a maximum depth of 10 m (~30 ft). This new system, known as the Marine Towed Array (MTA) has completed its first successful UXO survey on the Currituck Sound in Duck, NC in May 2005. A perspective view of the sensor platform is presented.
