Estimation of EMP coupling to the communication equipment

This paper estimates the EMP coupling to the FM/GMSK receiver in the EMP environment. Although the communication receiver is protected against conducted and radiated EMP, the interference generated affects the performance of the receiver although the time duration is very less. The duration of the interference is computed in this paper using the damped sinusoidal EMP waveform.
