Abstract :
In this paper, authors have explained their experience in establishing state of the art EMP test facility at EMP Technology Centre, Research Centre Imarat, Hyderabad. They also mentioned the problems faced and their efforts and technical competence to overcome in establishing such unique test facility in India. Features of the test facility are described. Function of the simulator is explained and special grounding and safety aspects incorporated in the test facility are discussed.
