Abstract :
Transportable terminals play an important role in modern satellite communication. They can be installed at short notice at any place and communication through satellite can be established. The 3M Air transportable terminal (ATT-3) is a flexible and rapidly deployable satellite ground terminal that has been designed to provide communication with ATT-3.In this paper reliability, availability and maintainability (RAM) analysis of a transportable satellite communication (SATCOM) terminal is presented.
