Abstract
This paper presents the following: semiconductor devices, a need for programmable platforms; changing need of design tools and IPs for programmable platforms; and SoftJin´s offerings to programmable platform developers. Reconfiguration granularity: coarse and fine grain, and application driven reconfigurable devices are also discussed.
