Abstract :
Texture synthesis has been one of the research focuses in computer graphics, computer vision and image processing fields, and it has applied in image repair, texture replacement, cartoon fracture, image coding, and error concealment. This paper introduces the study of the synthesis methods based on image blocks, presents the causal neighbor field synthesis method on based image blocks which are all under Markov random field (MRF) model hypothesis. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is effective.
