Abstract

By constructing a development trend model of logistics industry, the paper demonstrates the relationship between logistics industry and region economy from 1978 to 2007 of Shandong Province. The result shows that there is a cooperation and integration relationship between logistics industry and GDP. There is a interactive causal relationship between logistics capacity and GDP and the development of logistics industry plays an important role in the increase of GDP.
