Abstract
A method reconstructing of actuator fault for linear systems is discussed. Under some assumptions, the state equation of the system is partitioned into two parts through equivalent state transformation. One part doesn´t contain any fault information and a reduced order observer is developed for this part. For the part which affected by the fault, we design a sliding model observer to eliminate the influence of the fault. Based on the concept of equivalent output injection, an actuator fault reconstruction method is provided. The simulation results show that the proposed method is effective.
