Abstract :
According to the feature of software in bioinformatics field, this paper proposes a suite of software integration solution based on grid service - SoSIS. In the method, other solutionspsila ideas are used for referenced, such as PISE, myGrid and VINCA. Firstly, bio-software is encapsulated into grid service. Secondly, the grid service is abstracted into business service. Thirdly, the business service is represented by graphical symbol. Finally, business process can be composed only through dragging the graphical symbol. The paper also introduces the implementation of our solution based on GT4 (Globus Toolkit 4). Software capsulation, GUI auto generation, graphical business process assemblies, software invocation are explained detailedly. Based on our research, we found a bioinformatics service platform, on which more than 150 bio-softwares are integrated. It´s proved by application cases that the proposed solution, in contrast to other solutions, is integration-efficient, user-friendly, extension-easy, and maintenance-easy.
