Abstract
The traditional land-use planning (LUP) management is complicated and long-time cycle needed, which affected the implementation and management of land use planning in a certain extent. On the basis of analysis of the main content and features of land use planning management, and components of ArcGIS technical development, this paper discusses the technology and methods which realize the land use planning management workspsila automatization and informazation by using ArcGIS and database techniques, and software developing techniques, etc. It puts forward the total development thoughts and targets, and studies software structure, database structure design, function modules design of the LUP management system, etc. The result indicates that the LUP management information system (LUPMIS) has realized the automatization and informatization management in the planning index, the planning adjustment planning approval etc. It offers more effective means for dynamic implement and real-time management of LUP.
